If so, instead of trying to figure out who they are calling for, ask this collector the following questions:
1.) Who are you? What is your name?
2.) Who do you work for? What is your address.
3.) What is your phone number?
4.) OK, I am going to do some research, and see if I owe this debt.
Do a little research. Remember, a lot of these collection places, buy old debt that you might have filed bankruptcy, or the debt is so old the collector can no longer collect from you. However, the debt collector will absolute deny any thing you say to you, they have been trained to lie.
