New HAMP procedures, effective September 1, 2011:
Any servicers with a participant cap of $75 million or more (I have no idea what that means), must provide a “relationship manager.” A relationship manager is the only person the home owner will have to communicate with through out the modification process (hey, talking to a new person each time I called, didn’t work out?). Even if home eventually falls into foreclosure the “relationship manager” must remain available to respond to foreclosure questions.
Sounds good on paper.
