Reaffirm: reassert, in bankruptcy context, you are agreeing to enter into a new contract that reasserts a debt that you had prior to filing bankruptcy, whereby you agree to be personally responsible for that debt after the bankruptcy filing.
While a reaffirmation agreement may be necessary to keep your car (depends on the lender), it is not advisable for a credit card. In fact many judges will not agree to a reaffirmation for a credit card, furniture, or jewelry store (a few weeks ago, I had a client that wanted to reaffirm a watch, the judge denied the reaffirmation).
The bankruptcy has created a fresh start for you, and before you get out of the door of the bankruptcy court, you are trying to agree to be liable for more debt. Reaffirmation of any debt other than your car, not recommended, and as stated, unlikely the judge will approve.
In fact most credit card issuers will close your account even if you want to reaffirm.
It makes more sense to obtain a debit card, and get off the credit card fix.
