TAXPAYER BILL OF RIGHTS -INTERVIEWS

 

  1. IRS must provide IRS with explanation of the audit and taxpayers rights under the process.
  2. Taxpayer represented by attorney is not required to appear an interview without issuing summons.
  3. Taxpayer may make an audio recording of any inperson interview with IRS, provided advance notice is given to IRS. IRS can also record
  4. If taxpayer wishes to consult with an attorney, the IRS must suspend the interview.
  5. Time and place for interview must be reasonable.
