New Reaffirmation Trick by the Banks

   310.376.9865

Your Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is over, everything went well. You did not reaffirm your loan with you home lender.

You are now trying to modify your home loan. Guess what you lender has a new demand. You must sign a reaffirmation agreement to be able to enter into a loan modification.

Bankruptcy lawyers disagree, it is our position that the banks are trying to collect on a loan that was discharged in bankruptcy. You bankruptcy lawyer should move to reopen your case, and bring a discharge violation. (Of course, this won’t help with you loan modification, but if the bank wasn’t going to do a loan mod before, why would they now).
